Xpens does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to external servers. All your data stays on your device.
All expense data, categories, tags, preferences, and receipt images are stored locally on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework. No data is sent to any server, analytics service, or third party.
If you choose to use the optional iCloud backup feature, your data is stored in your personal iCloud account using Apple’s iCloud Documents. This data is governed by Apple’s iCloud Terms and Privacy Policy. Xpens does not have access to your iCloud credentials or any other user’s iCloud data.
Xpens requests access to your camera and photo library solely for the purpose of scanning and attaching receipt images. These images are stored locally on your device and are never uploaded to any external service.
Xpens offers optional tip jar purchases processed entirely through Apple’s App Store. Xpens does not collect or have access to any payment information. All transactions are handled by Apple and governed by their terms and privacy policy.
Xpens does not include any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising frameworks, or telemetry of any kind.
Xpens does not integrate with any third-party services, APIs, or SDKs beyond Apple’s own frameworks (SwiftData, Vision, StoreKit, CloudKit).
Xpens does not knowingly collect any information from children.
